Becky Herbst is an actress who has appeared in many television programs and commercials. Her most famous role is as Nurse Elizabeth Webber in the long running soap opera "General Hospital", a part that she has played for nearly a decade.
Becky Herbst was born in Encino, California on May 12, 1977. She started acting when she was six years old, saying that she wanted to be able to "play with the toys" that she saw on TV. As a child she appeared in dozens of national commercials. She was also a talented ice skater as a girl, and had to decide when she was sixteen whether she wanted to be a competitive figure skater or an actress. Since then, Becky Herbst has appeared on a great number of TV shows including "Beverly Hills, 90210", "Boy Meets World", "Sister Sister", "Days of Our Lives", "L.A. Law", "Highway to Heaven" and "Brotherly Love". Her part in "Brotherly Love" as Kristen was one of the longer of her early television appearances, as she acted in seven episodes in 1997. She also appeared in sixteen episodes of the show "Space Cases".
By far her longest running role, however, and the one she is best known for, is the part of Nurse Elizabeth Webber (later named Elizabeth Spencer after marriage) on "General Hospital". She first appeared on "General Hospital" in 1997, and continues in the role to this day, having appeared in over seventy episodes over the course of ten years. She has also recently appeared in "Hefner: Unauthorized", a Hugh Hefner biography in which she plays Barbi Benton, who was Hefner's girlfriend for several years.
In her personal life Becky Herbst is married to actor Michael Saucedo, who formerly played the character "Juan" on "General Hospital". They wed in 2001 and have a son.
